Platform reviews
Substantive reviews explain pricing, contact definitions, plan limits, buyer fit and material weaknesses.
About MailScouter
MailScouter helps creators, small businesses, publishers and ecommerce teams understand which email platform fits their operating model—not which product has the longest feature list.
Why the site exists
Most platforms can send campaigns, collect subscribers and automate basic messages. The meaningful differences appear later: how contacts are counted, which plan unlocks the required workflow, whether the product is designed around creators or customer data, and how quickly cost grows with the database.
MailScouter turns those differences into buyer-focused reviews, decision guides and curated comparisons. The aim is to make trade-offs visible before a reader imports a list, rebuilds automations or commits a team to a new system.
Ownership and responsibility
MailScouter is founded and edited by Brian Larsen. Editorial decisions, site development and the current research process are managed independently.
The site is not owned by an email marketing vendor, software marketplace or lead-generation agency. Vendors cannot purchase a category award, rewrite a verdict or pay to remove a documented limitation.
Where a page contains an affiliate link, the commercial relationship is disclosed separately from the editorial conclusion.
Current editorial scope
MailScouter currently concentrates on email marketing, newsletter publishing, creator email platforms and ecommerce lifecycle software.
Substantive reviews explain pricing, contact definitions, plan limits, buyer fit and material weaknesses.
Head-to-head pages are created only when two products compete for a real migration or purchase decision.
Cornerstone guides rank platforms by a defined use case instead of forcing one universal winner.
Research dates, official sources, affiliate relationships and untested claims remain visible.
